According to ChainCatcher, as reported by Bloomingbit, South Korean game developer Netmarble has issued resignation suggestion notices to more than 70 employees responsible for its metaverse-related business at its subsidiary MetaVerse World.

In addition, the "Meta World" project launched by MetaVerse World may be abandoned as well.

A representative from Netmarble stated, "Considering the deterioration of the relevant market, we have made a thoughtful decision to streamline MetaVerse World."
