BTC Security Lab is jointly initiated by ScaleBit under BitsLab, BiHelix, Waterdrip Capital, and Satoshi Lab, with Techub News and LK Venture as founding members, to fill the gap in the current Web3 industry for dedicated research institutions focused on the security of the Bitcoin ecosystem.
About BTC Security Lab:
With the rise of Web3 technology, Bitcoin, as the pioneer of blockchain technology, is rapidly developing its ecosystem. The Bitcoin ecosystem is not limited to digital currency but also encompasses decentralized finance, smart contracts, and distributed applications, with Bitcoin's influence and adoption continuously expanding. In this diverse ecosystem, security is particularly critical. To ensure its long-term security, specialized research institutions are needed to deeply explore potential security vulnerabilities and provide corresponding solutions, offering high-level security support for various aspects of the Bitcoin ecosystem and jointly promoting the security construction of Bitcoin's infrastructure. Therefore, we initiated BTC Security Lab, which aims to become an open and collaborative platform, providing high-level security support for the Bitcoin ecosystem's RGB track, Ordinals track, BTC Layer2, Lightning Network track, Nostr track, and more. Through joint efforts, we are confident in making significant progress in the security field of the Bitcoin ecosystem and contributing to the long-term prosperity of the entire industry.
BTC Security Lab offers diverse cooperation models to meet the needs of various project parties. This includes basic joint releases of BTC ecosystem research reports, organization of BTC ecosystem-related events, BTC ecosystem market education services, BTC ecosystem strategic consulting, as well as standard audits of contracts, code, and underlying development tools, middleware, applications for security-related grants, security training, planning of security-related activities, and security strategic planning.
