Inception Capital has completed the first phase of fundraising for its fund, raising 30 million dollars
ChainCatcher news, according to TechCrunch, Inception Capital (formerly OP Crypto) has completed fundraising for its first fund, totaling $30 million.
It is reported that OP Fund of Funds I LP primarily targets family offices and high-net-worth individuals seeking to make "diversified" investments in early-stage crypto venture capital deals. Its investors include Mirana, FJ Labs, and Serafund. The fund plans to invest in about five new investment managers and funds each year, rather than supporting specific projects, protocols, or startups.
The five management companies currently invested in are Syncracy Capital, Escape Velocity, Alliance, OrangeDAO, and Everyrealm. The fund has also co-invested with Bain Capital Ventures, ParaFi Capital, Multicoin Capital, and a16z's Marc Andreessen and Chris Dixon.
