ChainCatcher news, according to official sources, South Korean internet giant Kakao's Layer 1 network Klaytn and Japanese telecommunications giant Line's public chain project Finschia have proposed a merger. The two parties plan to create a new blockchain that supports both the EVM and CosmWasm frameworks, aiming to build the largest web3 ecosystem in Asia.
The voting for the merger proposal is scheduled to take place from January 26 to February 2.
