ChainCatcher news, the Bitcoin ecosystem wallet application Wizz Wallet announced that users on Discord reported being contacted by hackers impersonating the Wizz team through private messages, tricking them into losing assets in their wallets. After receiving user feedback, the team urgently took a series of measures, including: 1. Using techniques such as RBF to urgently intervene and recover some assets for users; 2. Contacting various exchanges to flag the assets stolen by the hackers; 3. Sending the phishing addresses used by the hackers to the SlowMist security team and adding them to the blacklist.

Wizz stated that the team will never proactively send private messages to any users. If there are any questions, users can open a ticket in #open-ticket, and Wizz team members will assist you with the issues in the specific ticket.
