The Hedera Board will allocate 4.86 billion HBAR for ecosystem growth
ChainCatcher news, the HBAR Council has announced that it has voted to approve a grant of 4.86 billion HBAR (approximately $380 million) for ecosystem growth. The vast majority of the grant (4.248 billion HBAR) will be allocated by the Hedera Board to the HBAR Foundation, Hashgraph Association, and DLT Science Foundation. The HBAR Foundation and Hashgraph Association will receive their grants in the first quarter, while the DLT Science Foundation will receive its grants after reaching milestone targets throughout the year.
In addition, 614.06 million HBAR will be used for the operational expenses of the Hedera Council and payments to early SAFT purchasers.
