ChainCatcher news, according to Yahoo Finance data, American asset management company Vanguard is one of the largest shareholders of MicroStrategy. As of September 2023, Vanguard holds a stake of 8.24%, making it the second-largest institutional shareholder of MicroStrategy.
MicroStrategy's stock is also part of several mutual fund portfolios under Vanguard, including the Vanguard Total Stock Market Index Fund, Vanguard Small-Cap Index Fund, Vanguard Extended Market Index Fund, and Vanguard Small-Cap Growth Index Fund. Additionally, as the page shows, as of September 2023, BlackRock holds 6.63% of MicroStrategy's shares.
ChainCatcher previously reported that American asset management company Vanguard does not allow clients to purchase newly listed spot Bitcoin ETFs. A Vanguard spokesperson also stated that there are no plans to offer a Vanguard Bitcoin ETF or other crypto-related products.
