Communities ID launches the first composable DID protocol BRC-137 in the Bitcoin ecosystem
ChainCatcher news, DID as a Service provider Communities ID announced the launch of the first composable decentralized identity (DID) protocol in the Bitcoin ecosystem ------ BRC-137. The official revealed that related assets will soon be issued on brc420.io.
It is reported that the BRC-137 protocol innovatively introduces two types of assets: BRC137-TLDs and BRC137-DIDs. BRC137-TLDs serve as NFT-based social nodes, while BRC137-DIDs are social individual identifiers based on BRC20 tokens.
The protocol's "composable engraving" feature allows users in the Bitcoin ecosystem to establish connections with social nodes, generating unique DIDs and building social network graphs. BRC-137 achieves seamless conversion between DIDs and fungible tokens by integrating EIP-3525 and the BRC-20 protocol, which not only enhances the liquidity of DID assets but also introduces a deflationary mechanism, bringing growth potential to DID holders.
