Previously, the Indian government agency responsible for reviewing financial transactions, the Financial Intelligence Unit, issued a notice of reasons to all nine companies two weeks ago, claiming they were not complying with India's anti-money laundering rules. The Financial Intelligence Unit has requested the Indian Ministry of Information Technology to block the websites of all nine service providers in India.
