TRM Labs: The illegal trading rate in countries with improved cryptocurrency regulation in 2023 is lower
ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, a report by TRM Labs has compiled global cryptocurrency policies from 21 regions in 2023, which account for 70% of the global cryptocurrency risk exposure. In countries with well-established regulatory systems, the rate of illegal activities among crypto providers is lower than in those with less developed regulations.
Moreover, among these 21 regions, up to 80% have begun to tighten cryptocurrency regulatory policies, and nearly half of the regions have specifically advanced consumer protection measures.
