ChainCatcher news, last night, the 178th Ethereum Core Developers Execution Meeting (ACDE #178) was held online. According to the minutes taken by the meeting host Lightclients, the activation date for the Dencun upgrade on the Goerli testnet has been set for January 17. Additionally, the developers have tentatively agreed to set January 30 and February 7 as the upgrade dates for the Sepolia testnet and Holesky testnet, respectively.

However, some developers expressed concerns that the upgrade interval between the Goerli testnet and the Sepolia testnet is too short, which may not be sufficient to observe potential issues. In response, Lightclients stated that ACDE #179 is scheduled to be held on January 18. If any issues arise within the first 24 hours after the Goerli testnet upgrade, the developers will have the opportunity to revisit the subsequent schedule arrangements.
