On December 26, according to an official announcement, Binance's new coin mining has launched the 42nd project, Sleepless AI (AI), a Web3+AI gaming platform. Users can invest BNB, FDUSD, and TUSD into the AI mining pool on the Launchpad website after 08:00 on December 28 to earn AI rewards, which can be mined for a total of 7 days.

What is Sleepless AI?

In August 2023, Sleepless AI was selected by Binance Labs as one of the top four projects in the sixth season of its incubation program.

Sleepless AI is an innovative Web3+AI virtual companion game that utilizes AIGC and LLM to create rich story-based gameplay and continuously evolving interactions with characters, providing players with emotional support and an immersive gaming experience. According to the team, its investors include Binance Labs, Foresight Ventures, and Folius Ventures.

Gameplay

In terms of gameplay, Sleepless AI's official documentation introduces two AI-supported games: HIM mode and HER mode.

HIM Mode

1. Visit the official game website: Use social login or a crypto wallet to access Sleepless AI, offering over 10 boyfriend characters for you to choose from, each with a distinct personality waiting for users to explore. Once a type is selected, he will become your SBT (Soul-Bound Token), exclusively yours and non-transferable.

2. Interact with your boyfriend: Sleepless AI combines a dialogue system with AI technology, allowing users to converse with their virtual boyfriend. Users can share their daily lives, stories, and even pictures to deepen their connection and increase intimacy.

3. Interaction: This includes dressing him up, feeding him, and playing together. In Sleepless AI's in-game store, users can find a variety of clothes, accessories, and even food for their boyfriends. Choose from available options and dress him in your preferred style. The higher the level of the accessories, the greater the benefits gained.

4. Customization: In Sleepless AI, users can customize their boyfriend's personality to meet all their preferences and desires. Adjust various attributes to shape his character, and these changes will be reflected in the dialogue.

Sleepless AI claims that its AI technology can create an immersive experience, where users do not realize they are chatting with a virtual girlfriend. "HER" expresses emotions just like a real girlfriend, feeling angry, jealous, or playful, mirroring expectations of real relationships.

Tokens and NFTs

Currently, the game assets announced by Sleepless AI include the governance token $AI, the game token "Diamonds," and NFTs.

The governance token $AI has a supply of one billion tokens, and $AI token holders can vote on game governance decisions, including prioritizing upgrades of in-game items (e.g., upgrading accessories from SR to SSR) or deciding on future accessories/new boyfriend types. Additionally, $AI can be exchanged for Diamonds and enjoy recharge discounts, and the tokens can be used to purchase clothes, accessories, upgrade cards, etc.

Sleepless AI has also set up a staking section in the game, where users staking $AI can share transaction fee income based on governance weight. Furthermore, users who stake $AI can vote for their boyfriends/girlfriends, with winners receiving more rewards.

Diamonds, as in-game currency, can be obtained using fiat currency, stablecoins, BNB, or $AI, with no supply limit. Diamonds can be used to purchase NFTs (clothes, accessories, food, etc.), mystery boxes, and unlock advanced features. It is important to note that besides purchasing items, interactions with companions, NFT transactions, and maintaining item durability will consume a certain amount of Diamonds.

Sleepless AI's NFTs include HIM Genesis NFTs and in-game NFTs, comprising 20 unique pieces that can be obtained through auctions or direct purchases. Players who own HIM Genesis NFTs will gain OG status in the game, qualifying for early access to game content, receiving the next NFT version, and obtaining various in-game benefits.

In-game NFTs include items such as clothes, scenes, decorations, and food, which can enhance the companion's abilities but will wear out over time, requiring game tokens for updates.

Roadmap and Airdrop Information

Roadmap

According to official news from Sleepless AI, future plans include the full release of "HIM" and "HER," as well as strategies for market expansion and audience engagement. Currently, HIM only supports iOS, but Sleepless AI has stated that it will support Android in the future and expand the game to platforms like Steam.

The Sleepless AI roadmap highlights major achievements, including a successful beta release and significant social media milestones. According to the white paper, the "HIM" and "HER" games are expected to launch in the fourth quarter of this year, achieving global game distribution and selling HIM Genesis NFTs.

By the first quarter of 2024, HIM 2.0 will be launched, introducing new HER characters based on popular KOLs, along with offline anime-themed events in South Korea and Japan. Additionally, HIM Series II NFTs and HER Series I NFTs will be sold, and partnerships will be established with globally recognized IPs for a global comic convention.

In the second quarter, HER 2.0 will be launched, expanding the range of selectable characters and hosting global offline anime-themed events. More new games utilizing AI and blockchain technology will be introduced, along with anime-themed pop-up events held at famous global landmarks.

Airdrop Information

Currently, Sleepless AI has not announced specific airdrop rules, but the team has indicated that players have the opportunity to qualify for airdrops through purchasing NFTs, spreading the word about Sleepless AI on social media, and participating in community activities.

The Genesis NFT sale will be conducted through auctions. Participating in the auction provides a chance to receive airdrops, with the number of airdrops being positively correlated with the bidding amount. Even non-winning bidders will receive airdrops, while the highest bidder will receive a substantial airdrop.
