zkSync: Edge errors occurred in the computing state update of the running nodes, leading to issues in the zkSync Era network
ChainCatcher message, zkSync posted on platform X that the issue with the zkSync Era network was caused by edge errors during state update calculations by the running nodes. It has now returned to normal and no funds are at risk. The issue itself is an error related to state updates: because the L1 contract mandates that the computed content must exactly match what the running nodes send, when a running node encounters this error, the network enters maximum defense mode, and the sorter waits for the divergence to be resolved.
