SafeMoon CEO was recently arrested in Utah, and the court denied his bail request

ChainCatcher news, according to Inner City Press, the CEO of the DeFi protocol SafeMoon on the BNB Chain, Braden John Karony, founder Kyle Nagy, and CTO Thomas Smith have been indicted in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, accused of conspiracy to commit securities fraud, conspiracy to commit wire fraud, and conspiracy to commit money laundering. Karony was recently arrested in Provo, Utah.

In November, Karony was ordered to be detained during a bail appeal and was taken to EDNY, but recent BOP database records show that Karony spent Christmas at the Brooklyn MDC.
