Currently, ZKFair has fully refunded all Gas Fees incurred by users during the period from 11:00 to 13:00 (UTC+8) on the 23rd.

We originally planned to launch the Gas Fee Airdrop event on the 23rd at 11:00, following the initial plan of a "first come, first served" rule. This rule was designed to allow all users to participate fairly in the way they wished. However, due to several reasons, we were forced to pause and ultimately cancel the Airdrop on the 23rd about an hour after the event started:

The community enthusiasm was too high, and the number of participants exceeded expectations. According to statistics, our backend recorded over 440,000 unique users, with RPC peak requests exceeding 10 million. We did not anticipate such a high volume of requests.
Some addresses exhibited abnormally high transaction frequencies, and nodes were subjected to attacks from certain IP addresses. This indicated that a large number of scripts were frequently submitting transactions, violating our community-driven fair launch concept.

Therefore, we decided to temporarily adjust the Gas Fee Airdrop rules, and we will reopen the Gas Fee Airdrop event for 7.5 billion ZKF tokens tomorrow. We will also expand server capacity to provide a better user experience.

Meanwhile, we promise that the Gas Fees consumed by users between 11:00 and 13:00 (UTC+8) on the 23rd will be fully refunded to the original addresses. We have completed all refunds. Here, we publish the list of addresses for full refunds.

New Gas Fee Airdrop Rules

To ensure fair participation from community users, we have established new Gas Fee Airdrop rules. The total amount remains at 75% of ZKF tokens, with a Gas Fee of 3 million USD, meaning the total initial FDV of ZKF is only 4 million USD. At the end of the event, 100% of the tokens will be immediately circulated and available for claim, with no additional tokens to be released in the future.

Event Rules:

Total ZKF Token Amount: 7.5 billion.
Total Gas Fee Amount: 3 million USD.
The event lasts for 48 hours, divided into four 12-hour phases. Each phase will have 1.875 billion tokens, worth 750,000 USD.
In each phase, tokens will be distributed based on users' Gas Fee contributions.
After each phase ends, the excess Gas Fees will be refunded proportionally after the event concludes. Example: If 1 million USD in Gas Fees was spent in the first 12 hours, and user Alice spent 10,000 USD, she will receive 1% of the tokens. Alice will also receive a 2,500 USD Gas Fee refund.

Other Information:

The official ZKFair team will not participate in the Gas Fee Airdrop.
The collection address for L2 Gas Fees will be publicly disclosed.
Users can claim ZKF tokens within 24 hours after the Airdrop ends.

‼️ Gas Fee Limitation Rules:

The Gas Fee Airdrop is a fair launch method for token release, allowing more community users to participate, thereby ensuring overall fairness in the community. During the Gas Fee Airdrop event, to prevent large addresses from occupying too large a proportion of the Airdrop, we have set some restrictions on transaction frequency and single transaction amounts.

Specific Restrictions are as follows:

Single transaction Gas Price limit: 200,000 Gwei.
Single transaction Gas Limit limit: 500,000.
Transaction frequency limit per IP address.
