Nigeria allows banks to open accounts for cryptocurrency companies
ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, Nigeria has allowed banks to open accounts for cryptocurrency companies.
Previously, the Central Bank of Nigeria had ordered financial institutions accepting deposits to immediately close accounts that trade or operate on cryptocurrency exchanges, stating that such transactions are prohibited.
