Curve Finance will pay over $49 million in compensation to victims of the hack
ChainCatcher news, the Curve community voted yesterday to compensate liquidity providers (LPs) affected by the $61 million hack in July. 94% of token holders approved the issuance of tokens worth over $49.2 million to make up for the losses in the Curve (CRV), JPEG'd (JPEG), Alchemix (ALCX), and Metronome (MET) pools.
The compensation specifically includes: $7.2 million worth of ETH recovered by white hats for the DAO; $42 million worth of Curve DAO Tokens (to compensate for unrecovered losses); and funds restored by other white hat hackers before the vote.
