The summit successfully attracted industry elites and renowned institutions from both domestic and international backgrounds, discussing how to ensure the security and stability of the Web 3.0 ecosystem in the new era, starting from the theme of "Hong Kong Web 3.0 Security Technology."

At the beginning of the event, the Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Paul Chan, National Committee member and Hong Kong Legislative Council member, Wu Jiezhuang, and Hong Kong Cyberport Chairman, Chan Sai Ming, delivered speeches on behalf of all attendees, pointing out the development direction for the future of Hong Kong's Web 3.0 security compliance.

Keynote Speeches by Distinguished Guests

Among them, Paul Chan, Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, stated in his speech that Hong Kong's goal is to lead and drive innovative development, attracting more top enterprises and talents to promote Hong Kong as a hub for Web 3.0.

The iPollo Pineapple Hong Kong Chain Test Network was also officially launched at this summit, showcasing not only iPollo's innovative achievements but also an important initiative for Hong Kong in the global Web 3.0 ecosystem construction.

Afterward, Mr. Zhu Haokang, initiator and secretary-general of the RWA Working Group, delivered an important speech on the topic of "RWA Empowering New Financing Models for the Real Economy." In the morning agenda, after the important speeches by Secretary Chan, Member Wu, and Chairman Chan, and the successful launch of five key ceremonies, the subsequent six thematic speeches and one roundtable discussion brought the summit to a climax.

Eric Bai, CEO of Meta Era and Director of the NYU Blockchain Association, delivered an important speech titled "Meta Era: Based in Hong Kong, Creating Globally, a New Era of Innovation in Web 3.0."

Eric pointed out that Hong Kong is a great information aggregation point, bridging East and West, allowing us to convey the voices of Chinese people to the world while integrating global partners into the Web 3.0 ecosystem of the Greater Bay Area and Greater China.

Additionally, Eric added that Meta Era, as the first media platform to convey Hong Kong's voice to the world, will leverage its value to expand globally from Hong Kong, transmitting the voices and strengths of the Chinese community.

Following that, Albert Lo, co-founder of HKVAC, delivered a keynote speech on "Virtual Asset Risk Management," pointing out that HKVAC's key products and services will be divided into two phases, covering exchange ratings, indices, joint development/cooperation, and more.

Mr. Chai Boyang, co-founder of NST and co-chairman of the Hong Kong Blockchain Association, stated in his speech that the "big year" for Bitcoin is approaching next year, and security issues are receiving increasing attention. In the future, free security training will be provided based on public welfare and openness to create a safe environment for Web 3.0 builders.

Huawei Cloud's Senior Architect and Chief Security Expert, Wan Tao, started from the topic "Huawei Cloud: Security Evolution on Web 3.0 Cloud," using Huawei Cloud's 3CS framework as an example to demonstrate how to set up one's security technology architecture. At the start of the afternoon activities, Dr. Li Kang, Chief Security Officer of CertiK, Mr. Nie Wei, Deputy Director of the International Judicial Exchange Base of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Security Research Center, Mr. Tony Tan, head of the Slowmist Hong Kong community, Mr. Darin Chan, head of BitMart HK, and Mr. Cyrus Chiu, Director of Customer Development and Sales at Cloudflare, initiated a roundtable dialogue on "How Communities Enhance Security Levels for Web 3.0 Users."

Zhao Binghao stated that Web 3.0 regulation should focus on regulating applications rather than technologies. How to utilize tools to better execute regulations and how to enhance regulatory effectiveness through disclosure and governance structures are worth studying.

Huang Junlang pointed out that balancing innovative technology and regulations, as well as maintaining policy continuity, is crucial for the development of Web 3.0 in Hong Kong.

When discussing the question of "How can asset managers effectively utilize Web 3.0 technology for innovation?" Wang Xiaocheng added that the compliance costs and required cycles for asset management are long, but blockchain technology can address issues of trust and information transparency in asset management, making asset management functions increasingly efficient.

Additionally, Wu Ming stated that Asia has significant advantages in Web 3.0. Currently, Web 3.0 innovations are emerging continuously, with many domestic engineers achieving results in technological innovation. Furthermore, the domestic digital payment infrastructure has considerable advantages, which will greatly impact the development of the Web 3.0 ecosystem.

Mr. Zhu Haokang, initiator and secretary-general of the Asia RWA Working Group, Mr. Zhang Dayong, Chief Business Officer of HashKey Group, Ms. Shi Zhuojun, Senior Manager of Huaxia Fund (Hong Kong), Dr. Zhu Junwei, founder of Xiayan Capital, Ms. Chichi Hong, partner at Hack VC, Dr. Yu Jianing, founder and principal of Uweb, Executive Director of the Metaverse Industry Committee of the China Mobile Communications Association, Honorary Chairman of the Hong Kong Blockchain Association, and Mr. Victor Qian, Business Development Manager at Matrixport, engaged in a roundtable discussion on the topic of "Exploration and Practice of Hong Kong Security Tokens and Stablecoins."

During this discussion, the guests shared their views on the exploration and practice of Hong Kong security tokens and stablecoins, as well as related regulatory issues.

Dr. Yu Jianing stated that people like Web 3.0 because assets can be fragmented, allowing for a small investment to yield significant returns, enabling superior Web 3.0 pricing methods to compete with traditional finance.

Conor R. Crowley, Global Legal Counsel at Socrates Global, also attended the summit and delivered a related keynote speech on "How to Enhance User Asset and Rights Protection?"

Among them, Xiao Wei stated that AI may contribute more in the economic field, while Web 3.0 will play a larger role in stability and marketization.

Kevin Ren pointed out that excellent AI technology should be applied across various industries, while also empowering AI through the liquidity and incentive models of Web 3.0. AI is essentially a tool, while Web 3.0 represents production relations, allowing AI to be accepted more quickly by people.
