Klaytn V1.12.0 released, supporting two hard fork upgrades
ChainCatcher news, according to official information, Klaytn V1.12.0 has been released. This version includes two different hard forks: the first is equivalent to the Ethereum Cancun hard fork functionality, and the second is an optional hard fork that enables on-chain randomness through Randao. The hard fork will take place on the Baobab testnet at block height 135456000, expected to occur on December 19 at 9 AM.
The official reminder states that this version includes a hard fork upgrade that introduces backward-incompatible changes. All Baobab nodes must upgrade to V1.12.0 or higher before the target block height. The hard fork block height for the Cypress mainnet will be determined in the next version.
