ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, a UK court has ruled that Craig Wright (Satoshi Nakamoto) and his company Tulip Trading need to prove ownership of approximately 110,000 bitcoins, which are at the heart of a case brought against a group of Bitcoin developers in 2021.

Previous reports indicated that the Bitcoin Legal Defense Fund submitted a preliminary question application to the UK High Court, stating that "Satoshi Nakamoto" Craig Wright lacks evidence to prove he actually owns the claimed lost 111,000 bitcoins. "If Craig Wright is the owner of the bitcoins in the address starting with 1Feex, he has effectively admitted to being the person who stole 80,000 BTC from Mt. Gox, as the widely accepted view in the cryptocurrency community is that the bitcoins stored in the address starting with 1Feex originated from the 2014 March Mt. Gox hacking incident."
