ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, the Bitcoin staking project Babylon has completed a $18 million Series A funding round, led by Polychain Capital and Hack VC. Framework Ventures, Polygon Ventures, IOSG Ventures, Castle Island Ventures, OKX Ventures, Finality Capital, Breyer Capital, and Symbolic Capital also participated.

Babylon stated that the project's goal is to "build a decentralized world protected by Bitcoin" by converting all 21 million BTC that will ever exist into decentralized staking assets. Currently, there are nearly 19.6 million Bitcoins in circulation.
