Blockchain Xion launches a test network based on "generalized abstraction," with the mainnet expected to be released next year
ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, the Coinbase-supported blockchain Xion has launched its test network, focusing on "Universal Abstraction," an infrastructure solution aimed at eliminating the complexity of Web3 user experiences. The goal of the network is to onboard users without directly using wallet accounts, signatures, or other typical processes. The team expects to launch the mainnet in 2024.
According to data from the crypto data platform RootData, Xion previously completed $3 million in seed funding and $8 million in Series A funding from several investors, including Circle Ventures and Animoca Brands.
