Sotheby's will hold its first auction of Bitcoin Ordinals artworks
ChainCatcher news, Sotheby's digital art department announced its first auction of Bitcoin Ordinals artworks, featuring pieces from the anonymous artist Shroomtoshi's Bitcoin Ordinals project BitcoinShrooms. The auction will take place from December 6 to 13 local time, with three pieces available for bidding.
It is reported that the series includes two mushroom individuals and a pixelated avocado seed, named BIP39------the common standard for the mnemonic code required to create seed phrases. These three pieces are expected to sell for around $20,000 to $30,000, although the auction house also accepts bids in cryptocurrency.
