ECP is an innovative platform established after the Ethereum merge, aimed at incentivizing the industry to seek climate solutions through Web3 technological innovation by combining the core advantages of traditional climate financing, technology, structure, and services. It seeks to mitigate the carbon emissions caused by Ethereum since its launch in 2015.

These measures are crucial for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting sustainable environmental development and social benefits. ECP is co-hosted by Consensys and climate technology company Allinfra. Other initial partners include industry leaders such as Microsoft, Polygon, and the NEAR Foundation, in addition to OKX Ventures.
