Mantle launches liquid staking protocol on Ethereum mainnet
ChainCatcher news, the Ethereum Layer2 network Mantle has launched a liquid staking protocol on the Ethereum mainnet. This protocol allows users to deposit ETH and participate in network staking through validator nodes, enabling users to stake Ethereum and receive mETH as a certificate of their staking share.
It is reported that the main feature of the Liquid Staking Protocol (LSP) is to allow users to free up capital from staked assets, but its widespread application on Ethereum has also led to the concentration of Ethereum staking among major providers (such as Lido, Coinbase, Binance, etc.). The Mantle team stated that they hope to address this staking concentration issue by increasing the range of available solutions.
