Coinbase CEO: The Bitcoin spot ETF is getting closer to meeting approval standards, and he is "quite optimistic" about it
ChainCatcher news, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong stated during an interview that he is "quite optimistic" about the approval of a spot Bitcoin ETF, but he also emphasized that he does not have "enough expertise" on the matter, adding that "from everything I've read publicly, it feels like a spot Bitcoin ETF is getting closer to being approved."
It is reported that among 13 potential Bitcoin ETF issuers, 10 have chosen Coinbase Custody as their custodian. Brian Armstrong mentioned that Coinbase has accumulated "tens of billions of dollars" in cryptocurrency over the past decade, and stated, "This is a good recognition for Coinbase and reflects the trust people have in us."
