ChainCatcher news, according to the Times of India, on Thursday, Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) Terminal 2 received an email containing a bomb threat. The sender demanded a payment of 1 million dollars in Bitcoin within 48 hours to avoid an explosion. The email stated: "This is your last warning regarding your airport. We will blow up Terminal 2 within 48 hours unless 1 million dollars in Bitcoin is transferred to this address. Another alert will be issued in 24 hours."

An officer from the Sahar police station stated, "The cyber department of the police station has traced the location, and the team is identifying the mastermind behind the threat."
