Emmett stated that he decided to accept the invitation from the OpenAI board after careful consideration. In the coming weeks, his top priority will be to ensure that OpenAI continues to provide good service to all customers. Clearly, the process and communication regarding Sam's ousting were very poor, which severely damaged OpenAI's trust.
