TrustPad: Staking Contract Attacked
ChainCatcher news, the cross-chain financing platform TrustPad stated on social media that a staking contract has been attacked and is currently under thorough investigation. In the meantime, users are advised not to trade TPAD, and a detailed response will be released after the investigation is completed. User funds and wallets are safe, and a snapshot has been taken.
According to monitoring by BlockSec's security development and proactive defense suite Phalcon, TrustPad was attacked due to multiple design flaws in the staking contract logic, with hackers exploiting untrusted external calls to manipulate the lock-up period to obtain pending rewards.
