ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg citing informed sources, Gemini Trust Co. Global Chief Technology Officer Pravjit Tiwana will leave the company this month.

Tiwana also served as the Chief Executive Officer for Gemini in the Asia-Pacific region. He joined Gemini in January 2022, with responsibilities including overseeing product, engineering, and design, and establishing the company's operations in India. Before joining Gemini, he worked as a general manager at Amazon for over six years. Earlier this year, former Gemini Chief Operating Officer Noah Perlman also left to join Binance.

Currently, Gemini is facing strict regulatory scrutiny, with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) accusing Genesis and Gemini of issuing and selling securities without registration. Last month, the New York Attorney General filed a lawsuit against Gemini and DCG for allegedly defrauding customers of $1.1 billion.
