PayPal appoints Archie Deskus as Chief Technology Officer

ChainCatcher news, PayPal has announced the appointment of Archie Deskus as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of PayPal, effective immediately. In this role, she will be responsible for PayPal's global technology, engineering, and information organization. In addition to overseeing PayPal's technology strategy, priorities, and data-driven operating model, Archie will also lead the planning, management, delivery, and transformation of PayPal's technology stack, systems support, and infrastructure.

Deskus has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) of PayPal since March 2022. Prior to joining PayPal, Deskus held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Intel Corporation and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE).
