The Bank of Korea and the Korea Exchange will conduct CBDC application tests in the carbon credit market
ChainCatcher news, according to South Korean media hankyung, the Bank of Korea and the Korea Exchange have signed an agreement to develop a carbon emission trading simulation system based on distributed ledger technology and to test carbon emission trading based on CBDC. The specific details of the experiment are scheduled to be announced at the end of November, with plans to conduct it in the third and fourth quarters of next year.
