OKLink and CertiK successfully held the Hong Kong Web3 Ecosystem Security Forum, accelerating the progress of security compliance
ChainCatcher news, October 23, hosted by leading Web3 on-chain data and compliance solution provider OKLink and pioneer in Web3 security CertiK, the security forum exclusively supported by the Hong Kong Investment Promotion Agency was successfully held. Guests from DRK Lab, InvestHK, and BlockSec discussed topics such as on-chain transparency, risks faced by the industry, urgent issues that need to be addressed, and community collaboration.
OKLink's Technical Director Raymond stated: "From the perspective of project parties, multiple aspects of security need to be considered during operations, such as smart contracts, operational maintenance, security upgrades, and compatibility of functions, all of which can introduce new security issues. Recent frequent security incidents have revealed that accounts in the Web2 space may also pose risks, while the risks faced by projects in the Web3 space are clearly greater. From the user's perspective, Web3 is also a new world, and the generation, storage, and use of users' private keys need to comprehensively avoid risks."
