ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, based on testimony from the FBI trial, Sam Bankman-Fried met with several political and investment figures in New York, including: Forbes magazine captured SBF meeting with Saudi Arabian Finance Minister Khalid A. Al-Falih or the head of its sovereign wealth fund Yasir Al-Rumayyan; in March 2022, SBF dined with New York City Mayor Eric Adams at an Italian restaurant Osteria La Baia near the Museum of Modern Art; in September 2022, SBF also planned to meet with New York Governor Kathy Hochul at The Capital Grille steakhouse.
In addition, an email also revealed that 32 funds, including George Soros and Morgan Stanley, had requested to attend SBF's collective dinner.
