ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, the Pennsylvania House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee passed the Cryptocurrency Energy Savings Act (13 votes in favor, 12 votes against), removing the two-year ban on cryptocurrency mining.

The ban halted the approval of new and renewed operating licenses for cryptocurrency mining facilities. Within six months, miners in the state must submit information regarding the number of operating mines and the size of each mine, as well as information on energy, emissions reporting, and energy and water consumption.
