BarnBridge launches community vote on "whether founders should comply with SEC orders"
ChainCatcher news, the DeFi protocol BarnBridge has launched a community vote to decide whether BarnBridge co-founders Tyler Ward and Troy Murray should "have the authority to take all necessary actions to comply with the SEC's order."
Specifically, this includes granting Tyler Ward and Troy Murray, along with their agents, the power to take all necessary actions to comply with the SEC's order against BarnBridge; the BarnBridge treasury to pay all illicit amounts required by the order; authorizing BarnBridge's legal counsel Douglas Park to sign the final version of the order on behalf of BarnBridge; allowing the treasury to pay all invoices related to Park's work with the SEC investigation; the treasury to sell all tokens permitted for sale, and allowing Tyler Ward and Troy Murray to distribute the tokens.
ChainCatcher previously reported that the SEC is investigating BarnBridge DAO and individuals associated with the DAO.
