Singapore's Huangpu Group plans to launch a $100 million venture capital fund by the end of the year, investing in the Web3 and digital asset sectors
ChainCatcher news, according to Nikkei Asia citing informed sources, the Singapore-based investment firm Whampoa Group plans to launch a $100 million venture capital fund by the end of this year. The fund is expected to invest in the Web3 and digital asset sectors, focusing on Series A financing deals. Previously, it was reported that the fund would be launched in the fourth quarter of 2022. So far, Whampoa Digital, the digital asset investment arm of Whampoa Group, has not commented on this matter.
