Binance's new CMO praises Istanbul as a cryptocurrency hub

ChainCatcher news, Binance's new CMO Rachel Conlan highly praised Istanbul's position in the global cryptocurrency ecosystem during an interview with CoinDesk Türkiye, calling it a crypto hub.

Conlan mentioned that while the global penetration rate of digital currencies is only 5%, Turkey has reached 12%. She also emphasized Turkey's importance in the global ecosystem and expressed satisfaction with Binance's achievements in the Turkish market.

Conlan also stressed the importance of regulatory compliance, stating that Binance holds 18 licenses globally and has invested over $80 million in user safety infrastructure. She anticipates that this number may double in pursuit of excellence, adding that "regulation will facilitate people's adaptation to this industry."
