Ordinals Wallet: Users can now create Runes Tokens based on the Runes protocol
ChainCatcher news, Bitcoin wallet service provider Ordinals Wallet announced on social media the launch of the Ordinals Wallet Runes Deployer, allowing users to create rune tokens (Runes Token) based on the alternative BRC-20 token standard protocol Runes.
In addition, Ordinals Wallet reminds users not to send rune tokens to wallets that do not support this token; it is recommended to create an empty wallet with a new address to store rune tokens. Using such a wallet may result in permanent loss of tokens; users will not see their rune token balance until an indexer is created, and they should be aware of the associated risks.
ChainCatcher previously reported that the founder of Ordinals proposed a new protocol Runes based on the Bitcoin network to replace BRC20.
