JPMorgan Chase will prohibit UK customers from engaging in cryptocurrency trading starting October 16
ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, based on an email sent to customers, Chase UK will prohibit UK customers from conducting cryptocurrency-related transactions starting from October 16.
The email stated: "If we believe you are making a payment related to crypto assets, we will decline this transaction." The email also added that customers are free to choose other banks or providers for cryptocurrency investments.
The UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) recently stated that it has facilitated discussions between banks and cryptocurrency companies, but lenders have shown a reluctance to provide services to the industry.
