ChainCatcher news, according to CryptoSlate, a recently leaked document on the gaming forum ResetEra shows that tech giant Microsoft plans to integrate a crypto wallet into its Xbox consoles. The Xbox roadmap from May 2022 included support for crypto wallets, but specific details were not disclosed.

Xbox head Phil Spencer attributed the document leak to the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's legal action against Microsoft. It is reported that the U.S. Federal Trade Commission opposes Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard, resulting in Microsoft inadvertently including the leaked document in the submitted files.

Nevertheless, Spencer downplayed the leak, noting that certain plans have changed. He stated, "It's hard to see our team's work shared in this way, as so many things have changed, and there are so many exciting things both now and in the future."
