ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, the Miss Universe Organization denies any association with the Miss Universe Token project announced at the Philippine Blockchain Week (PBW) event held earlier this month.

Earlier this month, PBW announced a project called "Miss Universe Token." Donald Lim, the founder of the organization managing PBW, stated during the event that PBW would "launch the Miss Universe Token." However, a few weeks after this announcement, the official organization behind Miss Universe denied any connection to the project, calling it a fraud.

The Miss Universe Organization stated, "There is currently no Miss Universe cryptocurrency or blockchain product, and these products are absolutely not involved in the voting or selection process of Miss Universe or the Philippine Miss Universe pageant."
