ChainCatcher news, according to Decrypt, venture capitalist Tim Draper, who has invested in Coinbase, Ledger, and Tezos, has launched a cryptocurrency-focused venture studio called Draper Goren Blockchain (DGB). The studio aims to accelerate the development of decentralized finance (DeFi) innovations, network scalability solutions, and consumer applications such as gaming and social experiences to address the ongoing bear market. The founding partners of the venture studio, Alon Goren and David Bleznak, have previously invested in Draper's Web3 investment platform Draper Round Table and are board members of the social analytics platform LunarCrush and the digital securities network Ownera.

Alon Goren stated that they do not intend to run DGB like Y Combinator or Techstars, and DGB plans to engage in long-term partnerships with each company. Alon Goren said, "We plan to work with each company over the next 10 years, investing $25,000 to $100,000 in early-stage startups, focusing on collaborating with selected entrepreneurs to build companies from the ground up."
