Database company MotherDuck completes $52.5 million Series B funding, with participation from a16z and others
ChainCatcher news, according to TechCrunch, the database startup MotherDuck, which commercializes the lightweight database platform DuckDB, announced the completion of a $52.5 million Series B funding round, led by Felicis, with participation from a16z, Madrona, Amplify Partners, Altimeter, Redpoint, and Zero Prime.
It is reported that MotherDuck's total funding has reached $100 million. MotherDuck's post-money valuation is $400 million, and the funds from this round will be used to expand MotherDuck's engineering and go-to-market strategy teams.
