The Intent Development Project Essential has launched the ERC-7739 draft, proposing a standard specification for the general intent of smart contract wallets
ChainCatcher message, the intent-centered development project Essential has launched a draft standard ERC-7739 that supports general intents for smart contract wallets, allowing user intents to be added to account abstraction wallets, where user intents are signed as messages and then ultimately verified on-chain through separate transactions, and these signed messages are propagated in their own memory pool.
It is reported that the goal of this specification is not to dictate how to accurately handle, structure, or manage off-chain intents, but to create a framework for smart contract wallets to integrate and automatically support the various possibilities defined by the signed intents themselves. Therefore, when new intent use cases arise, this framework also needs to allow for seamless and permissionless upgrade and code extension processes.
