The globally leading virtual asset exchange and Web3 technology company, as well as the official sleeve sponsor of Manchester City, OKX, held the "OKX Hong Kong Football Week" event from September 3 to 9 on the famous sneaker street in Mong Kok, Hong Kong, gathering a large number of sports and football enthusiasts.

The week-long "OKX Hong Kong Football Week" attracted over 15,000 local football and Web3 fans, influencers, and media participants. The event showcased Manchester City's trophies and signed jersey collectibles, featured legendary player Paul Dickov in attendance, and included an AR interactive football experience zone. OKX has been committed to enhancing user engagement with Web3 and virtual assets, and the event also incorporated some educational content and a sharing session by OKX's Global Chief Business Officer, Lennix Lai.

On September 3, OKX brought to Hong Kong the iconic Premier League and FA Cup trophies for the first time, while Manchester City displayed the trophies from their recent victories in two major matches on September 4 as part of their "Treble" trophy tour.

Lennix Lai, OKX's Global Chief Business Officer, stated: "Through our top-tier partnership with Manchester City, our goal is to bring innovative experiences to fans around the world. This collaboration also demonstrates that Web3 is gaining attention from various sectors, with improvements in adoption and integration into global financial services. We look forward to continuing to bring more innovative experiences to Hong Kong with Manchester City and strive to market Web3 and virtual assets in meaningful ways."

OKX's partnership with Manchester City began in March 2022 and announced an expansion of their partnership in June this year, making OKX the official sleeve partner of Manchester City.
