Consensys Strategic Director: Decentralized Infura will launch by the end of the year
ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, Consensys strategic director Simon Morris stated at KBW 2023 that a decentralized Infura will be launched by the end of this year, and major Web2 cloud provider giants may become part of the network. Its ultimate goal is to establish an architecture similar to TCP/IP that cannot be regulated.
ChainCatcher previously reported that last September, the blockchain development platform Infura announced plans to launch a decentralized protocol early next year to address concerns about its products being too centralized to support the Ethereum ecosystem. Infura will focus on the decentralization of the underlying infrastructure layer, which will facilitate partnerships between Infura and the larger DeFi community.
