ChainCatcher news, according to reports from the Hong Kong Economic Journal, ZA Bank has applied to the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission for a Type 1 license (securities trading) for virtual asset upgrades, hoping to connect to a licensed platform in the future, allowing customers to buy and sell virtual assets on the bank's application.

ZA Bank stated that it is currently still in the "application submission" stage and will actively seek approval from the regulatory authority, with no specific timeline for approval yet.
