ChainCatcher news, according to Decrypt, the developer of "PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds," Krafton, announced the launch of a Layer 1 project called Settlus based on the Cosmos SDK at the Korea Blockchain Week. This project aims to provide USDC-based payment and settlement infrastructure for metaverse-related projects, with its testnet expected to launch in early 2024.
In addition, the team behind Settlus also shared their vision for the metaverse platform Project Migaloo. Bryan Song, head of the business and operations team for the Migaloo project, stated that Migaloo is being developed in "synergy" with the Settlus blockchain, which will provide content creators with a "create-to-earn" system that automatically generates NFTs for the digital assets created by the creators to allocate creator royalties.
