MakerDAO founder: NewChain has not yet chosen which codebase to adopt, only conducted investigations

ChainCatcher news, according to Coinness, MakerDAO founder Rune Christensen stated in an interview: "NewChain has not yet chosen to adopt the Solana or Cosmos codebase; it is just under investigation; the structure of Maker Dao is divided into SubDAOs, which requires effective operation in multiple token directions. Regarding the second phase SubDAO of Endgame, there will be various business models in SubDAOs from different fields such as the Web3 cultural community, RWA, etc. Our goal is to make the DAO itself a sustainable ecosystem."

ChainCatcher previously reported that Maker DAO founder Rune Christensen published an article titled "Exploring the Fork of the Solana Codebase Based on NewChain," in which Rune stated that the entire Maker protocol will be restructured in the final phase of Endgame and released on a brand new, independent chain, currently codenamed NewChain.
